The cabinet minister said that out of 1405 panchayats of Hoshiarpur district, 266 panchayats and 54 sarpanches have been elected unanimously. In particular, Vidhan Sabha constituency Shamchurasi, which includes two blocks (Hoshiarpur-1 and Bhunga), has the highest number of 61 panchayats elected unanimously, in which Sarpanch and Panch are all elected unanimously. Apart from this, 10 Sarpanchs have also been unanimously elected in this constituency. If seen, a total of 71 Sarpanchs have been unanimously elected in Shamchurasi assembly constituency. Meanwhile, he also congratulated the unanimously elected panchayats.
