Saroa, October 13 Recently, a state level volleyball competition for school students below 14 years of age was organized in Faridkot, the land of Baba Farid. In these competitions, students of Maharaj Bhuriwale Garibdasi School of village Bungari of district Balachaur and Government High School Pojewal joined the team as per their ability. Playing volleyball from district Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar, these students showed their good game and got second position from Punjab. , Samardeep Singh son of Birbal, Daksh son of Satpal and Inderpreet son of Avadh Pratap are all residents of Rodi village. He was part of this team. All four are residents of Rodi village. A function was organized in village Rodi in honor of these players. During this, Comrade Maha Singh Rodi Harjinder Singh, former Inspector, said that on the basis of their hard work, these children have brought glory to the village Rodi, Government High School Pojewal and their parents by securing second position from Punjab in the volleyball competitions.
