Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, October 15, 2024:- The license of M/s JP Education and Immigration Private Limited firm has been rejected by Additional District Magistrate Viraj Shyamkaran Tidke, exercising powers under section 6 (1) (e) of the Punjab Travel Professional Regulation Act-2012. Additional District Magistrate Viraj Shyamkaran Tidke informed that M/s JP Education and Immigration Private Limited SCF No: 37, 2nd Floor, Phase-5 Mohali, District Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, owned by Jyoti daughter of Girdhari Lal, wife of Pawan Kumar resident of village Dhabwala Kalan, Post Office-Arniwala, Ferozepur, currently residing at House No: 109 Phase-4, Sector-59, Mohali and owner Surinder Kumar son of Valaiti Lal resident of village Dhabwala Kalan, Post Office-Arniwala, Ferozepur, currently residing at House No: 109 Phase-4, Sector-59, Mohali was issued license No: 262/IC, dated 24.01.2019 for consultancy work.
This license has expired on 23-01-2024. The said firm had applied for shifting its office address to SCF No: 02, Top Floor, Phase-5 Mohali. Taking into consideration the report of the Police Department, the office address was changed on 05.02.2020.
The Additional Deputy Commissioner said that as per the report of Sub-Divisional Magistrate Mohali and Tehsildar, Mohali, the firm and the licensee have violated the provisions of Section 6(1)(e) of the Punjab Travel Professionals Regulation Act-2012 by closing the office, receiving undelivered letter, not submitting monthly report, not renewing the license, not complying with the conditions of the license, not responding to the notices/not giving clarification.
Therefore, in view of the above facts, Shri Viraj Shyamkaran Tidke, IAS, Additional District Magistrate, Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, in exercise of the powers vested under the provisions of Section 6(1)(e) of the Punjab Travel Professionals Regulation Act-2012, has issued notice of closure of the office, order for immediate closure of the office of the firm M/s J.P. License No. 262/IC dated 24.01.2019 issued to Education and Immigration Private Limited has been cancelled/cancelled with immediate effect.
In addition, as per the Act/Rules, if in future any complaint etc. is received against the said company/firm/firm's partnership or its licensees/directors/partners, then the said company/director/partner/licensee will be responsible in all respects and will also be responsible for its compensation.
