Karnal, September 16:- To ensure transparency and timeliness in government operations, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Sonu Bhatt has issued instructions for recording the attendance of officers and employees in all district offices through biometric machines.
He emphasized that all office heads must ensure they send the biometric attendance reports of their employees to his office. During a meeting, ADC Sonu Bhatt stated that while some offices have started recording biometric attendance, their reports have not yet been sent to his office. He urged such department heads to send the reports at the earliest.
For offices where biometric machines have not yet been installed, arrangements should be made to install them promptly. He directed that employees must be present in the office on time, and those arriving late will have their absence/leave recorded.
Biometric machines should also be installed in all block and sub-divisional level offices in the district. At the gram panchayat level, biometric machines will also be installed to ensure that all patwaris and gram sachivs record their attendance at a designated location.
