These plants include a total of 13 species including Jamun, Sheesham, Khair, Amla and Darek. DFO Sushil Kumar said that due to continuous rainfall in the area, there is sufficient moisture in the soil, which is providing a very favorable environment for plantation.

Plantation will be done on 61 hectares of land-
Big plants will be planted on 54 hectares while small plants will be planted on 7 hectares-

Sushil Kumar said that under this campaign, a total of 61 hectares of land has been identified, in which big plants will be planted on 54 hectares and small plants on 7 hectares in the months of July and August.
The DFO said that under the Rajiv Gandhi Samvardhan Yojana, this plantation will be done with the help of Mahila Mandals and Self Help Groups of the district. For this, 17 self-help groups have been selected through which 28 thousand 800 plants will be planted.
He told that after plantation, the work of maintenance of plants will also be done through Mahila Mandals and Self Help Groups and the fencing work will be done by the department. Apart from this, maintenance work of plantation done in the last season will also be ensured in which new plants will be planted in place of those plants which have not developed or have been damaged. A total of 83 plants will be planted for this work.

88 thousand Khair plants will be planted on the private land of farmers-
The DFO said that 88 thousand Khair plants will also be distributed free of cost to the farmers to plant on their private land so that in the coming time their livelihood can also improve and it can also help in keeping the environment clean.

5500 plants will be planted under Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam Yojana-
He said that under Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam Yojana, 50 thousand plants will be planted in various schools of the district and 5 thousand plants in health institutions.
The DFO said that keeping the environment in religious view, 5 thousand plants of Peepal, Bil, Banyan and Shaming will also be planted. He has appealed to the people of the district to participate enthusiastically in this plantation campaign so that the earth can be made green so that the coming generation can get clean climate and environment.
