Giving information in this regard, the presidents of the society Sukhwinder Singh Thandi and Amarjit Singh Khalsa said that with the cooperation of the Sangat of Nawanshahr area, ration material is being collected at Gurdwara Manji Sahib Patshahi, Nauvin Banga Road, Nawanshahr.
Today, ration materials worth about Rs 10 lakh including 1500 boxes of water, tarpaulins, beds, mattresses, frying pans, flour, lentils, rice, sugar, tea leaves, water bottles, brushes, toothpaste, ORS powder, dry milk, mosquito repellent, torch, bleaching powder, cleaning supplies, odomos, necessary medicines and necessary sanitation supplies for women etc. were sent to the Society's Phagwara center Gurdwara Bhai Ghanaiya Ji Sewa Simran Kendra, Chahal Nagar, GT Road, Phagwara from where the Society's Phagwara teams are being delivered to the needy in the flood-affected areas in collaboration with Sikhs Equality Foundation and Alliance of Sikhs.
He appealed to the entire Sangat, whoever wants to donate relief materials, can reach the Patshahi Nauvi Gurdwara Manji Sahib Banga Road Collection Center. President Sukhwinder Singh Thandi gave a message to the city residents to come forward to help the flood affected people as much as possible and thanked everyone for the support being received from the Sangat of the entire area.
