MLA Vinod Bhayana expressed displeasure over the slow pace of work of catching stray animals; said, make Hansi a stray animal free city in a week.

Hansi: – MLA Vinod Bhayana held a marathon meeting with the officers and employees of the Municipal Council at the Public Works Department Rest House on Saturday. In this meeting, the progress made under the instructions given in the last week's meeting regarding improving the cleanliness system of the city, removing encroachment from the roads, stray animals reaching the designated places and development works was reviewed.

Municipal Council President Praveen Elawadi was also present in the meeting.
Vinod Bhayana expressed displeasure over the slow pace of catching stray animals and instructed the Municipal Council officials to start an intensive campaign from tonight itself to make the stray animals reach the designated places. During this, male and female employees will also be present. He said that within the next 7 days, stray animals should not be seen anywhere in the entire city.
He told the officers clearly that any kind of delay and negligence in this work will not be tolerated. If this work is not completed within the stipulated time period, then the concerned responsible officer and employee should get themselves transferred to some other city, there is no place for careless officers and employees here.

The MLA said that although there has been some improvement in the cleanliness system, but it is not enough. He said that the cleanliness system of the city should be completely improved. The officers told the MLA that to improve the cleanliness system of the city, the entire city has been divided into 9 zones and cleaning staff has been assigned duty.
Apart from this, the duty of one officer has been fixed in each zone to monitor the cleaning work. The MLA said that this officer should not only provide information about cleanliness but also about stray animals, lighting and water logging in the wards, so that every kind of problem can be solved quickly.
The Municipal Council officials also informed that at present 25 tippers and five tractor trolleys are being operated for lifting garbage. Tender has also been placed for 20 tippers. The MLA instructed to immediately replace the sanitation inspector of ward number 7, 8 and 9 who were absent in the meeting and put another sanitation inspector on duty. Helpline numbers 9588 177762 and 9812194607 were issued in the meeting. The MLA said that WhatsApp will be active 24 hours on these mobile numbers. Any citizen can take a photo of garbage lying anywhere in the city and send it on WhatsApp on these mobile numbers. He said that the ward and street number should also be added along with the photo so that the problem can be solved quickly. He said that residents of wards 1, 2 and 20 to 27 can send photos on 9588177762 and residents of ward number 3 to 19 can send photos on mobile number 98121 94607.

*Make the roads encroachment free for the good of all*:
MLA Vinod Bhayana, Municipal Council President Praveen Ailawadi and SDM Rajesh Khoth visited the city on foot. During this, he clearly told the shopkeepers to ensure that the encroachment is removed from the roads. The administration will launch an anti-encroachment campaign from Monday.
During this time, if encroachment is found on any road, then action will be taken against the concerned shopkeeper as per the rules. The MLA said that due to encroachment on the roads, the common people have to face a lot of trouble and the shopkeepers also suffer business losses. Therefore, for the good of all, the roads have to be made encroachment free.

*Get the development works completed quickly:* 
The MLA instructed the Municipal Council officials to complete the development works which are under construction in the city quickly and ensure that the construction work of the approved new development works is started as soon as possible. He also instructed to send the status report of many development projects.
He also instructed that wherever there is water logging in the city, arrangements should be made immediately for drainage. Many dignitaries including Municipal Council EO Suresh Chauhan, Vicky Kumar, Municipal Councilor Balwan Gurjar, Vinod Saini MLA's political advisor Dinesh Bhutani, Subhash Yadav were present in the meeting.
