Meeting with Chairman Gurmail Singh Gharachon by the leaders of Stamp Vendor Union regarding the demands of Ashtam traders.

Ghanoor September 15 (Abhishek Sood) A delegation of Stamp Vendor Union Punjab led by President Baljinder Singh held a meeting with Chairman Gurmail Singh Gharachon, a close associate of the Chief Minister and demanded that the demands of Ashtam vendors of Punjab be resolved as soon as possible. On this occasion, a demand letter was also given to be sent to the Punjab government.

Giving information about the meeting, President of Stamp Vendor Union Baljinder Singh said that during the meeting, the delegation told the chairman that many demands of Ashtam vendors have been pending for a long time. During the meeting, the union leaders also discussed in detail the difficulties faced by Ashtam traders regarding the e-stamp system of the stock holding company.

He said that at the time of implementation of the e-stamping system, Punjab government spent crores of rupees on Ashtam paper printing, but all this burden was put on the Ashtam vendors. He said that when the leaders of the Stamp Vendor Union brought this matter to the attention of the top officials of the Punjab government to fix the stationery and printing charges in this regard, they had assured that the demand would be resolved soon.

The union leaders said that Ashtam frosh fill the government treasury by collecting revenue of crores of rupees, but the economic condition of Ashtam frosh is getting worse day by day. On this occasion, Chairman Gurmail Singh Gharachon assured the union leaders that he will soon arrange a meeting of the Ashtam frosh union with the Punjab government, so that the pending demands of the Ashtam frosh can be resolved.

On this occasion, senior union leaders Kamaljit Sharma, Tajinder Garg, Pawan Kumar and Harbans Singh were also present in the meeting.
