Pandoga bridge on Panjawar-Bathdi road temporarily closed, traffic will operate through alternate route.

Una, August 4- Due to heavy rains, the cutoff wall and raft (between km 5/904 to 6/155) below the pillars of Pandoga bridge on Panjawar-Bathdi road have been partially damaged. Due to structural damage, this bridge has now become unsafe for vehicular movement.

Una, August 4- Due to heavy rains, the cutoff wall and raft (between km 5/904 to 6/155) below the pillars of Pandoga bridge on Panjawar-Bathdi road have been partially damaged. Due to structural damage, this bridge has now become unsafe for vehicular movement. Keeping in mind public safety, this bridge has been temporarily closed till further orders.
District Magistrate Una, Jatin Lal has issued orders in this regard under Section 115 and 116 of the Motor Vehicles Act 1988. He informed that to maintain smooth traffic system, traffic has been diverted to alternate routes.
He informed that all the vehicles coming from Una will now pass through Pandoga Barrier and Khadd Village, while the vehicles coming from Gagret have been diverted to Pandoga Barrier via Degree College Khadd.
The District Magistrate has directed the concerned departments to install clear signboards on the route so that the general public can be facilitated. Also, he has appealed to the people to use alternate routes to avoid inconvenience and follow the guidelines issued by the administration.
