Chandigarh, August 2 - Haryana Health, Medical Education and Research Minister Aarti Singh Rao has taken an important initiative to resolve the long-standing rail problems of passengers of Ateli Narnaul region. In this regard, she has written a letter to Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav, appealing to him to expand rail services in the region, ensure regular operation and maintenance of trains.
The Health Minister has sent this letter in view of the demand raised by the Dainik Rail Yatri Sangh of Ateli Narnaul and Mahendragarh districts and the needs of local citizens. She clearly stated in the letter that the people of Ateli, Narnaul and Mahendragarh region are facing difficulties in travelling due to limited rail facilities, which needs to be resolved soon.
The Minister specifically raised demands that special trains be scheduled. In which train numbers 09425-09426, 09557-09558, 09637-09638 and 09639-096340 should be run regularly. Train numbers 05097-05098, 22451-22452, 22949-22950, 12065-12066, 09425-09426 and 09557-09558 should be stopped at Ateli railway station. New trains should be started for the convenience of passengers of Ateli and Mahendragarh area.
The Health Minister also wrote in his letter that thousands of daily commuters from the region have to travel to big cities like Narnaul, Rewari, Jaipur, Delhi for work and family reasons, but due to limited trains and unavailability of their stops, they have to resort to inconvenient means. The Minister expressed confidence that Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav will take a proactive decision in this regard soon and ensure that the problems of the citizens of Ateli-Narnaul region are resolved.
