Una, August 2- Deputy Commissioner Una Jatin Lal said that the district administration is working with full readiness to overcome the difficulties arising in various areas of the district due to torrential rains and to restore normalcy.
He said that the government machinery is continuously active on a war footing to make the roads smooth, solve the problem of waterlogging and all relief and restoration works. The rain has caused damage to developmental projects including government and private properties at many places, which is being assessed. Instructions have also been issued to the concerned officials to provide immediate financial assistance to the affected people as per the provisions of the relief manual.
The Deputy Commissioner said that the entire administrative staff is engaged in monitoring and relief work by being active in the field.
