SAS Nagar, September 12 Constituency MLA Sh. Kulwant Singh has said that a new industry is being set up in more than 700 acres of land in Mohali and three to four new sectors are going to be created. Speaking during an important meeting held with the newly selected team of Mohali Industry Association, Mr. Kulwant Singh said that industry is the backbone of any state and the Aam Aadmi Party government in Punjab is committed to solving all the problems of the industrial world. He told the industrialists that they can definitely say that whatever the scale of the problem, it will be permanently solved in any case.
He said that the guarantees given by AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal and the promises made by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann to the people in the last assembly elections are being fulfilled by Arvind Kejriwal in front of his eyes. He said that he has full hope that the arrival of the newly elected team of Mohali Industry Association including President Baljit Singh, Senior Vice President Vivek Kapoor and Rajeev Gupta will lead to industry progress in Mohali, as this association will help the Punjab government. Speaking on the occasion, Mohali Industry Association President Baljit Singh said that industrialists of Mohali have gathered in large numbers today. He said that we have given a demand letter to MLA Kulwant Singh and others about the problems related to the industry area by the Mohali Industry Association. He demanded that the problems of small scale businessmen in Mohali should be solved on a priority basis, the Punjab government should allot plots at a reasonable price to those entrepreneurs who are running their factories on rented premises, so that they can set up their factories.
