Patiala, 4 June 2025: Today on 4/06/2025, the Deputy Commissioner Patiala was informed regarding the ongoing dispute in the Bhagwan Shri Vishwakarma Temple Committee/Trust that the previous day the trust members had arbitrarily removed the trustee and president Surjit Singh Mahal from the post of president.
Due to which there was anger among the Vishwakarma descendants of the entire city and surrounding areas and on 1/06/2025 a meeting of all the Vishwakarma descendants was held at Vishwakarma Temple Lahori Gate Patiala. After that the other party called a large number of police inside the Vishwakarma temple, which is very condemnable.
The police were roaming inside the temple wearing shoes, along with this there was a lot of anger among the Vishwakarma residents and the police stopped the members from entering the Vishwakarma temple. An attempt was also made to remove us from that place. The situation had worsened in the meeting. There could have been a dispute between the two parties at the temple at any time and there could have been loss of life and property.
Therefore, the entire Vishwakarma Bansia group of Vishwakarma Mandir Lahorigate Patiala decided unanimously that the management of Vishwakarma Mandir Lahorigate Patiala should be put under the Dharm Arth Board and a government administrator should be appointed there. A written letter has been given to the Deputy Commissioner Patiala in this regard.
