Una, July 27- Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri reached Dulahad village of Haroli assembly constituency late Saturday evening and took stock of the recent tragic incident. It is worth noting that a few days ago, 10 buffaloes died on the spot due to electrocution after coming in contact with a broken electric wire.

The Deputy Chief Minister met the affected cattle rearer Jakub Ali, including the affected families and villagers, and took complete information about the incident and expressed deep condolences. Describing this accident as extremely painful and unfortunate, he said that the cattle rearers have suffered huge financial losses due to this.
Mr Agnihotri announced financial assistance of Rs 5 lakh to the affected cattle rearers. Also, directed the administration and electricity board officials to conduct a fair and prompt investigation of this incident and ensure necessary safety measures to prevent recurrence of such incidents in future.
On this occasion, senior Congress leader Ranjit Rana, electricity board officials and a large number of local villagers were present.
