Garhshanker: In an effort to contribute to the environment, local organization Shivalik Social Welfare Society planted shady and ornamental saplings in Government Primary School, Jiwanpur Gujjaran village.
Mrs. Harpreet Kaur, Head of Government Primary School Jiwanpur Gujjaran said that Shivalik Social Welfare Society is making its due contribution in social work. She said that saplings have been planted in our government school today, and thanking them, she said that we hope that Shivalik Social Welfare Society will continue to make its due contribution to improve the environment in future as well.
Samundar Singh, Gurjant Singh and members of the school committee from the school were also present on the occasion. Founder of Shivalik Social Welfare Society Phoola Singh Birampur, Dr. Lakhwinder Kumar, Davinder Singh Birampur, Sandy Bhajla, Dharamjit Singh Raja, as well as other members were also present on the occasion.
