In the name of humanity, retired training supervisor of Red Cross Kaka Ram Verma requested the Health Minister of Punjab Dr. Balbir Singh Ji to impart information about health care, accidental incidents, seasonal diseases, electric current, animal bites, epilepsy/cardiac arrest, heart attack, fainting etc. to the students, teachers and parents through those students.
The Hon'ble Health Minister thanked the Administration, Health, Security Department and said that well-informed, learned, experienced people and senior citizens should come forward to make people aware. Last year also, as per the orders of Health Minister Dr. Balbir Singh, the students of Government Medical College and Nursing College were imparted training on disaster management, first aid, CPR, fire safety.
Now, with the support of the administration and education department, Kaka Ram Verma will make students and teachers aware of health safety and assistance. This training will be given absolutely free in government schools.
