Patiala- While protests, demonstrations, conventions and funerals were held across the country in support of Palestinians against the war waged by Israel against Palestinians, a huge convention was held by the leftist parties of Patiala district at Dosti Bhawan Patiala under the leadership of Nirmal Singh Dhaliwal, Hari Singh Daun Kalan, Gurdarshan Singh Khaspur and Avtar Singh Kaurji Wala.
Despite bad weather, peace workers from various parties reached Dosti Bhawan Patiala in large numbers. Addressing the gathered peace workers, Darshan Belu Majra, Dharampal Seal, Rajinder Singh Rajpura and Amarjit Ghanaur said that for a long time Israel has been killing the people of Palestine on the orders of the imperialist country.
Going forward, all the rules of war have been ignored and all limits have been crossed by attacking densely populated areas, religious places, schools, hospitals and what is even more saddening is that the Palestinian government is providing food to the people who have been rendered homeless due to the war. He warned that Israel should stop the war waged on the orders of its imperialist friends and free the Palestinian people.
Finally, all the peace activists reached the border gate Patiala, raising slogans and marching with full enthusiasm, where they burnt the effigies of Trump and the Israeli Prime Minister. Slogans were raised, the role of stage secretary was played well by Jagtar Singh Fateh Majri.
