Rupnagar, September 8 A 48-year-old man was brutally murdered in Rupnagar. The deceased has been identified as Dwarka Das, a resident of Adarsh Nagar, Ropar. The deceased used to work at a clothing shop in Rupnagar market. The police who reached the spot are investigating with forensic experts and the process of registering a case is going on based on the statement of the family members of the deceased.

Balwinder Singh, the relative of the deceased, said that the deceased did not reach home after working from the shop yesterday and his body was found on the side of the road at a deserted place on the Gaushala road in the morning. D. reached the spot. S. P. Tarlochan Singh and S. H. oh Pawan Kumar arrived with his team and started the investigation. D. S. P. Tirlochan Singh said that the deceased has been identified as Dwarka Das. A blood-soaked body and a sword were also found a short distance away from the spot. Police is investigating on many aspects.
