Mahilpur- In the nearby village Bahowal, Jarnail Mula Singh Sports Club and Gram Panchayat were feeling the constant need of a new tubewell to improve the village playground facilities. A pious and inspiring decision has been taken to meet this need.
Dedicating to the memory of Jarnail Mula Singh's son Inderjit Singh Bains, his daughter Bibi Gurmeet Kaur Sra, son Anandpal Singh Sra (Minister of Justice, Alberta, Canada) and the entire Sra family have donated Rs. 3,50,000 for the tubewell. This tubewell will ensure constant availability of water in the playground.
Which will provide a better environment for sports activities to the young players of the village. This service will not only strengthen sports but also the collective progress of the village. On this occasion, Sarpanch Contractor Hardeep Singh of Gram Panchayat Bahowal thanked the family including the members of Jarnail Mula Singh Sports Club. He said that this service is not only memorable but also an example for the coming generations of the village.
Bibi Surinder Kaur, Anmol Singh Bains, Taranjit Singh, Jaspreet Singh and Navdeep Singh were also present at the function. All the people present wholeheartedly appreciated the tireless efforts of the family and called their effort an ideal step for the village.
