Hoshiarpur- On the occasion of World Youth Skills Day, Lamarin Tech Skills University, Punjab (LTSU), Punjab organized a grand event on World Youth Skills Day. World Youth Skills Day is an event set by the United Nations that is celebrated every year to recognize and promote the importance of equipping youth with skills for entrepreneurship, employment and decent work. The theme of World Youth Skills Day 2025 was 'Youth Skills for Peace and Development'.
Dr. A.S. Chawla, Vice Chancellor, LTSU, Punjab elaborated on the techniques to make lessons more interesting and enriching for students, also provided valuable information on various learning materials that can be used for effective teaching-learning process.
He highlighted the importance of identifying the capabilities of students to enhance knowledge and skills and encouraged the participants to observe nature to get ideas for solving problems. They shared ideas for projects that can be worked on and explained how faculty can encourage students to think differently.
Shri. N.S. Riyat, Chancellor of Lamarin Tech Skills University, Punjab congratulated the teachers and students on this day and said that trainers should always upskill, upskill and reskill themselves to succeed in this competitive world.
Sachin Jain of LTSU made the participants aware of the importance of this day that skill is the need of the youth, without skill a student is zero, so every student should acquire skills regularly for success.
