Una - A special campaign is being run till 30 September with the aim of quick resolution of cases pending for years in the district. Secretary of District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) and Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Anita Sharma said that the objective of this 90-day special campaign is to ensure quick and easy settlement of cases pending in the courts through mutual consent and mediation.
She said that this campaign is being run in all the courts of Una district. During this, the solution of family disputes, motor vehicle challan cases, domestic violence, cheque bounce, commercial disputes, service matters, in-law criminal cases, mutual disputes, matrimonial and property matters, science and dues cases, land acquisition cases and other appropriate civil matters will be ensured.
She said that due to cases pending in the courts for a long time, citizens have to face mental stress and financial burden. In such a situation, this special mediation campaign is a golden opportunity to provide relief to the people. The District Judge and Chairman District Legal Services Authority has appealed to the people to take advantage of this campaign and ensure resolution of their pending cases on the basis of mediation.
