Patiala, July 14- The 64th birthday of the first citizen of the royal city, Mayor Kundan Gogia was celebrated by planting rose saplings in the Rose Garden under the leadership of Upkar Singh, President of Gyan Jyoti Education Society, Patiala.
While planting the saplings, Mayor Gogia appealed to the general public that to keep the environment clean, every person should plant two trees on his birthday, which has been going on for the last two decades. Join this campaign and plant as many trees as possible.
Every person should plant 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam' in the name of his mother. The Mayor said that the population of Punjab is about 3 crore. If every person understands his responsibility and plants one or two saplings, then a change in temperature will be seen in the coming year.
