
IOCL Una organised health awareness camp in Bathri.
Una, July 14- Under Swachhta Pakhwada 2025 and the Centre's Mission LIFE (LIFE-Lifestyle for Environment), the Northern Region Pipelines Unit of Indian Oil Corporation Limited Una today organised a special health-awareness camp in Bathri village. The aim of this camp was to promote timely identification and prevention of serious diseases like tuberculosis (TB). The camp was inaugurated by District TB Officer Dr. Vishal Thakur. During this, Operations Manager of IOCL Una, Anchit Gupta was also present.

The aim of this camp was to promote timely identification and prevention of serious diseases like tuberculosis (TB). The camp was inaugurated by District TB Officer Dr. Vishal Thakur. Dr Vishal Thakur said that this health awareness camp was organised free of cost in collaboration with Regional Hospital Una and Indian Oil Corporation in which X-ray examination of more than 300 villagers was done. This initiative is an important step towards providing quality health services to the rural community and ensuring early detection of TB.
Dr Thakur said, “Cleanliness is everyone’s responsibility, and such initiatives play a vital role in preventing diseases like TB. He also underlined that increasing access to TB preventive healthcare services is an essential part of social responsibility.
Speaking on the occasion, Anchit Gupta said that Indian Oil Una is not only contributing to the national health missions through community-based initiatives but is also strengthening its comprehensive CSR approach of environmental protection, public welfare and inclusive sustainable development.
