Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, 8th July: Shri Saurav Jindal PPS. Superintendent of Police (Investigation), District SAS Nagar while briefing the press said that on the direction of Shri Harmandeep Singh Hans, IPS. Senior Superintendent of Police District SAS Nagar, Mohali Police traced the kidnapped person and his “blind murder” on the night of 03.07.2025 at IT City Area Police Station and succeeded in arresting 02 accused.
Shri Saurav Jindal PPS. Giving information to the press, he further said that on 04.07.2025, based on the statements of Kahul Sehaj son Amarjit Singh Sehaj, resident of House No. 2770, Block C, Aerocity, District SAS Nagar, an unknown person FIR No. 86 dated 04.07.2025 under Section 127 (6) BNC was registered at Police Station IT City, District SAS Nagar that his father had gone out with some other person during the day on 03.07.2025.
Who did not return home that night. His family members were continuously searching for him. After searching, the missing person Amarjit Singh Sehaj could not be traced and the plaintiff lodged a missing report at Police Station IT City. On which the above case was registered and investigation was started. Looking at the gravity of the matter SSP sahab constituted separate teams headed by Mr. Saurav Jindal PPS Captain Police (Investigation), Mr. Talwinder Singh PPS Captain Police (Operation) District SAS Nagar and Mr. Harsimran Singh Bean PPS Sub Division City-2 Mohali, Mr. Jatinder Chauhan, PPS (Homicide) Mohali and additional charge Deputy Captain of Police Mohali, CIA and Chief Officer of Police Station IT City Mohali were assigned the task to trace the blind murder by making every possible effort to take action.
On which Harminder Singh Incharge CIA Staff and his team jointly with Satwinder Singh Chief Officer Police Station IT City traced the blind murder through technical methods and human sources and registered 02 accused under section 140/2), 1403 in the case and arrested them yesterday on 07.07.2025 from Sector 66 A, Aerocity Mohali. During investigation, the body of the kidnapped person was recovered from the area of ??Chowki Morni, Police Station Chandimandar, District Panchkula and a case under Section 103, 3(5) BNS was added in the matter. On interrogation, it was revealed that the crime was committed with a real 30 bore pistol of accused Baljinder Singh Bhullar.

Details of interrogation of accused:- During interrogation of accused Bikram Singh and Baljinder Singh Bhullar, it was revealed that they work as property dealers. On interrogation, he confessed that on 03.07.2025, at night, he took the deceased Amarjit Singh Sohaj with him in a car to Block C.
And told him to ask for 31/40 lakh rupees from his house and give it to him, on which the deceased Amarjit Singh Sohaj refused and the said person took the deceased Amarjit Singh Sohaj to Morni hill and shot him dead there and fled from the spot after throwing him in the forest. The accused have been arrested and their bodies and the body of the deceased Amarjit Singh have been recovered. Details of recovery:-
Complete information has been obtained about the vehicle and weapon used in the incident, which are being recovered. The accused have been taken on 04-day remand, more revelations may happen soon.
