Traffic Police made students aware about not using drugs and traffic rules at Government High School Chhat, Mohali

Deputy Superintendent of Police, Traffic today at Government High School, Village Chhat, SAS Nagar to make students aware about not using drugs and following traffic rules.

Deputy Superintendent of Police, Traffic under the campaign against drugs and awareness of traffic rules, a special seminar was organized by Karnail Singh PPS. Deputy Superintendent of Police, Traffic today at Government High School, Village Chhat, SAS Nagar to make students aware about not using drugs and following traffic rules. 
The main objective of this seminar was to make the school students aware about the ill effects of drugs, following traffic rules and the importance of going towards sports. During this seminar, the students of the school were made aware that some wrong elements make students addicted to drugs, so protect yourself from such bad elements. 
Along with this, the students were also told that under Section 199 A of the Motor Vehicle Act, if a child below the age of 18 drives a vehicle, then his parents can be imprisoned for 3 years, a fine of up to Rs. 25 thousand and the person who gives a vehicle to a child below the age of 18 can also be imprisoned for 3 years or fined.
Along with this, the students were made aware of the scheme of giving awards to good Samaritans run by the government and it was told that if any person helps a person who has met with an accident, then he will be given Rs. 2000 by the government (under the angel scheme).
On this occasion, the principal and other staff of "Government High School, Pind Chhat, S.A.S. Nagar" thanked DSP Traffic for organizing this seminar on awareness. S. Karnail Singh PPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police Traffic finally motivated all the students to go towards sports. 
Apart from this, all the students were explained that you should inform your family members about the education received from this seminar and make them aware about not driving under the influence of alcohol and at high speed and motivate them to follow the traffic rules.
