Nawanshahr- The Punjab government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann is taking the education sector of the state to new heights. Under this series, the development works done in government schools under the 'Punjab Education Revolution' launched by the Punjab Government are being dedicated to the people and other upcoming works are being started. These views were expressed by Lalit Mohan Pathak Ballu, Vice President of Punjab State Board of Technical Education and Industrial Training, on the occasion of dedicating development works in 7 primary schools of Nawanshahr constituency under Punjab Education Revolution.
During this, he inaugurated boundary wall, classroom and toilet in Government Primary School Jadla, boundary wall in Tajowal School, boundary wall, classroom and toilet in Mirpur Jattan School, classroom in Bains School, new building in Kahma School and boundary walls in Manguwal and Naura schools. He said that the Punjab Government is continuously improving in the field of education.
He said that there was a time when common people preferred to send their children to private schools, but due to the historic efforts made by the present Punjab government in the field of education, the number of students enrolled in government schools has increased tremendously today. He asked the teachers of the schools to give maximum benefit of the facilities being provided by the government to the students to brighten their future, so that the students of government schools can also bring laurels to their state and school by scoring high marks in competitive examinations.
On this occasion, Chairman of Market Committee Nawanshahr Gagan Agnihotri, Dr. Kamaljit Lal MC, Balwinder Kumar MC, Dr. Jaswinder Singh Sandhu, Halka Coordinator Shiksha Kranti Nawanshahr, besides dignitaries of the concerned areas, principals of schools, teachers and a large number of students were present.
