Kapurthala (Paigam-e-Jagat):- On the invitation given by Shri Prannath Jagriti Seva Samiti (Regd.), a grand book exhibition was organized by the entire staff of District Language Office, Kapurthala along with the service of Chhabil and Vriksha Langar.
On this occasion, the entire staff organized an exhibition of books published by the Language Department Punjab, Patiala.
This book exhibition was already announced on social media and print media, as a result of which the city residents gave a very enthusiastic response. Being a holiday, many city residents and students came to buy books and showed their interest in the books.
Dr. Gurdev Singh Bhatti addressed the city residents repeatedly on this occasion and motivated them to connect with their mother tongue Punjabi, as well as drink cold sweet water and receive free trees being distributed, on which not only the city residents but also the migrant workers showed great interest in purchasing Hindi language books.
While the students showed interest in purchasing illustrated primary dictionary, story books, the youth showed interest in purchasing novels, biography and translated books, our senior citizens purchased religious books. Seeing this tremendous response from the city residents, Mrs. Jaspreet Kaur, District Language Officer Kapurthala said that they inform about the place, date and time of the book exhibition on social media and print media two days in advance.
To remain connected with such activities of the District Language Office, she appealed to connect with the social media page of the District Language Office. On this occasion, Mr. Sukhwinder Matharu, Shahbaz Khan, Munza Irshad visited the exhibition and gave information about the books and gave the message to the attendees to purchase at least one book and take advantage of the book purchase.
The employees of the district language office Manish Bahl, Salman Khan, Narinder Kaur and the members of Prananath Jagriti Seva Samiti Sugam, Bharat Negi, Gaurav, Aniket, Sagar, Preet, Hardeep and Rishav Dogra played an important role in the entire performance.
