The Governor has also reminded the Chief Minister of the Supreme Court judgment of February 28, 2023, in which the Supreme Court said that both the Chief Minister and the Governor are constitutional positions. The roles and responsibilities of both are detailed in the Constitution. The Governor has the right under Article 167 (b) to seek information from the Chief Minister in matters relating to state affairs and proposals for legislation.
