Instead of going abroad, students should be ready to participate in activities like Agniveer, so that they can become loyal and responsible soldiers of the country.

These views were expressed by the students of Green Land Public Senior Secondary School Patiala during the thought and speech competition. They appreciated the humanitarian work being done by the Army, Navy and Air Force as well as the police, paramilitary forces, civil defense, fire brigade and life saving doctors.
The children praised Colonel Sophia Qureshi, Wing Commander Bhumika Singh, Bharat Ratna Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam who gave India the technology to develop missiles and the work of the Government of India. Principal Mrs. Manju Garg and Mr. Kaka Ram Verma Chief Instructor First Aid, Safety, Health, Awareness Mission honored the winning students by giving them medals.
He said that it is important to tell the children that the country, Mother Earth, environment, parents, elders and teachers are giving them everything to fulfill their needs, so everyone should strive for the purity, safety, respect, prosperity and progress of their country, society, home, family, institution, environment.
He said that children should be told and taught stories of patriots, heroes, warriors who sacrificed for the country, society, home and family and Indians who sacrificed their comforts, family, happiness and dreams for the country.
Ways should be adopted to protect children from comforts, tastes and fashion and make them brave warriors. The children expressed their gratitude to their Principal Mrs. Manju Garg and uncle Ram Verma.
