Hoshiarpur- While the Punjab government is trying to curb drugs by taking various initiatives in the war against drugs across Punjab under the orders and instructions of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, today under this campaign, the constituency MLA Dr. Ishank Kumar made a unique effort and appealed to the most influential part of the society, the entire Sant Samaj, to take Punjab out of the clutches of this drug by praying at the feet of Waheguru Ji and making efforts to bring our misguided youth out of it. Along with this, he also requested the entire Sant Samaj to join this war against drugs campaign. Today, Sukhmani Sahib Path was organized at Gurdwara Bana Sahib, Bahowal and Ardas was performed in which hundreds of saints, saints, sadh sangat and sarpanches attended.

Dr. Ishank said that our saints are the most influential part of our society because a large number of Sadh Sangat try to take their lives on the right path by listening to their discourses and Bani. Therefore, the impact that the thinking and guidance of this Saint Society can have on our youth and their families cannot be the same as that of anyone else.
Therefore, I strongly appeal to them to fully support us in this war being fought against drugs and also pray at the feet of Waheguru Ji to get rid of this scourge of drugs. On this occasion, Member of Parliament from Hoshiarpur Lok Sabha constituency Dr. Raj Kumar Chabbewal specially attended this event and paid his respects at the feet of Guru.
