A big awareness rally was taken out in Chabbewal as part of the Punjab government's campaign against drugs.

Hoshiarpur- Intensifying the fight against drugs in Punjab, a big anti-drug awareness rally was taken out in Chabbewal today. This rally was taken out under the ongoing campaign of the Punjab government against drugs, in which government officials, police department and local citizens participated in large numbers. The rally was led by Chabbewal MLA Dr. Ishank Kumar and SP Major Singh (PBI). Both appealed to the people to be aware and save their future by taking charge of the war against drugs.

The rally was led by Chabbewal MLA Dr. Ishank Kumar and SP Major Singh (PBI). Both appealed to the people to be aware and save their future by taking charge of the war against drugs.
On this occasion, DSP Manpreet Shimar, Inspector Prabhjot Kaur, (Station Head Chabbewal), Inspector Baljit Singh Hundal, (Station Head Mihatiyana), Dr. Shiv Kumar and ARP (Armed Reserve Police) personnel were also present. They gave the message of unity and determination against drugs.
The rally was taken out from various areas of Chabbewal, in which the youth and the general public were made aware about the harm of drugs. Anti-drug slogans were raised, posters were waved and pamphlets were distributed during the rally, motivating people to stay away from drugs. MLA Dr. Ishan Kumar, while addressing the gathering, said that the government's policy against drugs is strict and every citizen should contribute in this fight.
He said that only through awareness, education and timely intervention can we save the youth. On this occasion, he also spoke about the government schemes against drug abuse such as rehabilitation centers, awareness campaigns in schools and colleges and increased police vigilance in vulnerable areas.
This rally was not just a demonstration but a symbol of solidarity and public participation against drugs - which sent the message that the fight against drugs is not just of the government or the police, but of every citizen.
