Amritsar, May 27- A blast took place this morning near village Nashehra on the local Amritsar-Majitha Bypass Road, in which one person died. The incident took place in an empty space near the road, where an injured person was also found. Some of the body parts of this person were separated from the body due to the blast, he was taken to the hospital but died. The police have suspected the hand of Pakistani intelligence agency ISI and Babbar Khalsa behind the blast.
On receiving information about the incident, senior police officials also reached the spot. Border Range DIG Satinder Singh and District Rural Police SSP Maninder Singh said that this incident is related to the terrorist organization Babbar Khalsa International and the person who died would also be a member of the terrorist organization.
He said that during the initial investigation, it has come to light that this person had come to take this explosive material from this deserted and empty place and the explosion took place. He said that in most such cases, the weapon or explosive material is left in some deserted or empty place and some other person is asked to get it from there. He said that there is a possibility that the Pakistani intelligence agency ISI is behind this. The police officer said that some evidence has been found from the pocket of the deceased person and the police are conducting his identification and further investigation. Local people said that they heard a loud explosion and when they reached the spot, they saw a person here in an injured condition. People say that the injured person had some explosive with him, which exploded and he was injured. After the incident, a large number of people had also gathered, who informed the police about it. After police arrived at the scene, they evacuated the area and are investigating.
