Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar 27th May 2025: Under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner, SAS Nagar, Smt. Komal Mittal, a draw will be held through online portal at District Administrative Complex, SAS Nagar on 28-05-2025 at 4:30 PM to select the farmers related to the online applications given for the machinery required for stubble management.
On this occasion, Dr. Gurmel Singh, Chief Agriculture Officer-cum- District Level Executive Committee, SAS Nagar informed that the Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare is distributing agricultural machinery under subsidy for stubble management and awareness campaign is being run under the IEC component.
In the year 2025-26, a total of 292 online applications were received on the CRM portal from 260 individuals, 01 cooperative society, 01 FPO and 30 private farmers as mobile entrepreneurs, out of which a draw will be held for machines based on the preference given by them.
Therefore, all the farmers are informed that the beneficiaries who have applied under the scheme must please participate in the draw.
