Maur Mandi- Employees of Punjab Water Supply and Sewerage Board Outsource Union Maur demonstrated against the government today. The demands of sewerage outsource employees have been pending for a long time, such as boots, gloves, mats, last year's pending arrears, timely salary, uniform etc.
All these demands have been brought to the notice of SDM sahab ji, but no officer has given any assurance regarding the demands and neither any demand has been fulfilled. Due to which there is anger among the employees and the officers have ignored the dharna going on for a long time and neither have they paid attention to the employees, due to which today they intensified their struggle.
The employees climbed on the water works tank and raised slogans against the government. Lakhwinder Singh, Rambhajan, Shammi Ram, Suraj Kumar, Nirmal Singh, Happy Singh etc. were present on this occasion.
