Nawanshahr- Dr. Ambedkar Welfare Club Reg Sahlon honoured the students of Government Senior Secondary Smart School Sahlon (S.B.H.S. Nagar) who secured first, second and third positions in class 10th and 12th by giving them badges and certificates.

Among the students honoured in class 10th, Mr. Sahil Gangar son of Mr. Satnam Ram secured first position, Ms. Mansi daughter of Mr. Karnail Singh secured second position and Ms. Sunaina daughter of Mr. Veeru secured third position while in class 12th, Ms. Amandeep Kaur daughter of Mr. Dilbag Singh secured first position, Ms. Neha daughter of Mr. Sundar secured second position and Ms. Rachna Devi daughter of Mr. Lakhveer Singh secured third position.
Speaking at a brief ceremony on this occasion, Principal Mrs. Alka Devi Ji thanked the club members and motivated the children to work harder. She stressed the need for children to come forward to win this competition with a spirit of friendship.
He also mentioned the achievements of the school in the field of education and sports. Club President Satpal Sahlon thanked everyone and said that this tradition of honour will continue in future as well. Earlier, the club honoured the students who secured first, second and third positions in all the classes starting from class 1.
On this occasion, club members Mr. Satpal Sahlon, Gurpreet Singh Babba, President Sewa Society Sahlon, Jaswant Singh Pappi, Jaswinder Singh Bhatti, Gursharan Singh Bhatti, Makhan Singh and Amandeep Singh Salhan were present, while school staff Mr. Rajwinder Lakha, Harminder Singh Uppal, Balwinder Kumar, Varinderjit Singh, Arun Kumar, Lakhwinder Singh, Manjit Ram and Amarjit Kaur Jind, Usha, Sujan, Reena, Poonam, Jasvir Kaur, Hardeep Kaur etc. were present. Lecturer Jaswinder Singh Nahar played the role of stage secretary.
