Badaun (Uttar Pradesh), May 22- In Tappa Jamni village of Sahaswan area of ??Badaun district on Wednesday night, sparks from a transformer due to strong wind engulfed almost the entire village in a short time. In this incident, about 200 houses were burnt and the village turned into a pile of ashes.

According to information received from local sources, the people of the village ran away from there and saved their lives, but one person was injured due to burns and has been admitted to the Community Health Center in Ujhani. Hundreds of domestic animals died due to burns in this terrible fire.
Police and administration teams have reached the spot and started relief and rescue operations. However, by the time the fire brigade vehicles reached the village, the entire village had been burnt to ashes.
District Magistrate Avnish Kumar Rai said that the accident took place due to strong winds. Police, fire brigade, medical team and ambulance are present at the spot. He said that no one was killed in this incident, one person has suffered burns.
During this, a large number of animals have died. He said that the administration will quickly assess the damage and provide compensation to the affected people and help will also be provided to those whose houses have been damaged.
