Kharar, May 19- A fire broke out in a closed shop in Chhajju Majra Colony (Ward No. 12) of Kharar. Municipal councilor Mr. Rajveer Singh Raji said that the fire brigade was informed about the fire in the closed shop, and the fire brigade under the leadership of fire brigade in-charge Kaur Singh immediately brought the fire under control.
He said that if the fire brigade had not reached the spot immediately and taken action, the fire could have spread to the nearby shops as well, which could have caused a lot of damage, but due to the alertness of the fire brigade a major accident was averted.
