Palwal/Chandigarh: 19 May 2025- The Palwal district unit of Shramjivi Journalists Union of Haryana organized a state-level journalist honoring ceremony under the chairmanship of Dr. Indu Bansal, state president of the union, today on Devrishi Narad Jayanti in Palwal.
In this state-level journalist honoring ceremony, hundreds of journalists from almost all districts of the state were honored by giving patka, shawl and mementos to Devrishi Narad ji.
Presiding over the program, Dr. Indu Bansal, the founder and state president of Shramjivi Journalists Sangh Haryana, said that Shramjivi Journalists Sangh Haryana is following the policy of Haryana.
Dr. Bansal said that the association is committed to the interests of journalists.
Sangh demands Journalist Protection Act in Haryana Pradesh. For which the Chief Minister and the Governor will be met soon and informed about the problems of the journalists.
Dr. Bansal said that we are the descendants of Devrishi Narad, the first journalist in the universe, and carrying forward his tradition, all journalists should do journalism boldly and avoid old journalism. Journalists should write factual news with priority.
Dr. Bansal said that the Palwal district unit was formed and announced before the journalist award ceremony. In which senior journalist Bhushan Ohlian was appointed Palwal District President.
