Patiala: New Patiala Welfare Club, under the leadership of President Arvinder Kumar Kaka, demonstrated against the Mann government by raising slogans against the Mann government in protest against the non-fulfillment of the guarantee of regularization of temporary employees before the assembly elections.
During this, President Arvinder Kumar Kaka, while demonstrating, said that before the assembly elections, AAP had given a big and first such guarantee of regularization of temporary employees, on which temporary employees played an important role in forming the Aam Aadmi Party government in the state by giving their valuable votes. While 39 months have passed since the formation of the government in Punjab, even today the temporary employees have not been regularized.
The Aam Aadmi Party government has betrayed the trust. Due to which the trust of temporary employees has been broken, now the protest of temporary employees against the government is increasing. Instead of regularization, the Mann government has only done the formality like the previous governments. All the promises and guarantees of this government have proved to be a failure. If the temporary employees protest for regularization, they are attacked with sticks.
Pradhan Arvinder Kumar Kaka raised questions on the policy and intention of the government and said that the reality is that no employee has been regularized, only the Mann government makes announcements on the stage and gets applause from the people sitting in front. Whereas the neighboring state Haryana has not promised any guarantee of regularization of temporary employees. Still all the temporary employees have been regularized, due to which BJP won the election with a huge majority for the third time. The government has been formed and the temporary employees in Punjab are waiting for permanent employment for more than three years.
Pradhan Arvinder Kumar Kaka expressed deep concern and said that the previous governments kept misleading the temporary employees by making false promises of permanent employment and the Mann government is also following the same old policy. Now false promises should not be given to temporary employees, now temporary employees should be made permanent. Rajesh Kapoor, Surinder Singh, Gurvinder Singh, Arun Kumar, Man Singh, Jarnail Singh, Vijay Kumar, Hukam Singh, Prakash Singh, Mangat Ram, Jatinder Singh, Jagtar Singh, Sarwan Kumar, Narinder Pal Singh, Karam Singh etc were present in the demonstration.
