Chandigarh, May 13, 2025: Brahmleen Kaur, a final-year B.Sc. Medical Animation (Audio/Visual) student at the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, has brought international recognition to India by winning two prestigious awards at the BioImages 2025 competition, hosted by the BioCommunications Association (BCA), USA (bca.org).
Her exceptional visual creations earned her both an Image of Merit and an Image of Distinction, acknowledging her outstanding contributions to the field of biomedical visualization. These accolades form part of BioImages' annual celebration of excellence in life sciences and medical media, where entries are evaluated based on intent, design, execution, and impact.
Brahmleen expressed heartfelt gratitude for the unwavering support and mentorship of her faculty members—Mr. Brijlal, Ms. Shivali Raj, and Mr. Abhijeet Singh—whose guidance, she said, was instrumental in refining her artistic and scientific capabilities.
