Garhshankar, May 5- The Beet area, located on the Shivalik hills in Garhshankar tehsil, is located 60 km from Hoshiarpur. This area is a part of Punjab state, which is backward despite being in Punjab. After the country's independence, the governments of the time did not pay any special attention to this area.
Due to which the people here were facing a lot of difficulty in transportation and in the last few months, due to the efforts of Garhshankar MLA Jai Krishan Singh Rori, Deputy Speaker Punjab Vidhan Sabha, the Punjab government, keeping in mind the big problem of the people of the Beet area, the PRTC Ludhiana depot bus route was started from Jhungia (Binewal) in the morning at 6:30 am and the return bus route from Ludhiana at 3:15 pm.
Due to which a wave of happiness spread in the area. With the start of this bus route, the employees, students and the common people benefited a lot, then this bus route was closed after two years of operation. Due to which the people of the area are facing a lot of difficulties.
Seeing this problem, BSP leader Yashpal Chechi has demanded from the Punjab government that keeping in mind the problems faced by the people of the area, the Ludhiana PRTC bus route should be restarted by personally intervening. So that the problems of the area can be reduced.
