
Workers donated blood in a camp organized on the occasion of World Labor Day.
Hoshiarpur- BDC Blood Center organized a blood donation camp on the occasion of World Labor Day in collaboration with Indian Society of Blood Transfusion and Immunohematology Punjab Chapter (ISBTI). 22 people donated blood in this camp in a proper manner.

The camp was inaugurated by Sandeep Kumar, President of Divyang Social Association Hoshiarpur, with his blood donation. He said that donating blood is a matter of pride. If a person is healthy, his age is between 18 and 65 years, his weight is at least 45 kg and his hemoglobin is 12.5 grams, then he can donate blood after every three months.
He said that blood donation is a donation that is done by rising above religion, caste and wealth and poverty. The prayers of the patients who receive this blood are directly the blessings of God.
On this occasion, J.S. Gidda, Parvesh Kumar and Dr. Ajay Bagga said that the contribution of the workers in every construction of the world cannot be forgotten. Praveen Kumar appealed to the workers to take care of their health and stay away from drugs.
Workers Sarabjit Singh, Raman Kumar, Ishwar, Saudagar, Vijay Kumar, Sundar Lal, Narinder Kumar Gill etc. were present in this camp. From BDC, J.S. Gidda, Parvesh Kumar, Dr. Ajay Bagga, Malkiat Singh Saroya, Rajiv Bhardwaj, Mukesh Kahma, Neha Kaushal, Sumit Gill, Bina Kumari and Prof. Onkar Singh etc. were also present.
