Chandigarh- May 1, i.e. Labour Day, is a day to remember the hard work on which the foundation of our entire world rests. Councillor Prem Lata from Ward 23 in Chandigarh celebrated Labour Day with the sanitation workers of Lions Company.
Prem Lata said that whether it is a big building, long roads or the greenery of fields, there is a story of the sweat of some labourer behind all these. All the labourers work very hard to keep our Chandigarh city clean and beautiful and we all should express our gratitude to them.
The councillor distributed sweets among the employees of her ward 23 and praised their hard work and perseverance. Shivani, supervisor Amit and Anuj and Joginder were present on this occasion.
