26 Cadets of Maharaja Ranjit Singh Preparatory Institute Clear NDA Written Examination

Chandigarh, April 29: Adding to the pride of the State, 26 cadets of Maharaja Ranjit Singh Armed Forces Preparatory Institute, SAS Nagar (Mohali) have achieved a glorious milestone by clearing the National Defence Academy (NDA) (1) written examination for NDA-155 Course.

Chandigarh, April 29: Adding to the pride of the State, 26 cadets of Maharaja Ranjit Singh Armed Forces Preparatory Institute, SAS Nagar (Mohali) have achieved a glorious milestone by clearing the National Defence Academy (NDA) (1) written examination for NDA-155 Course.
The result was declared by the UPSC yesterday evening. The course will commence in December 2025. 34 cadets of the Institute had appeared for the NDA 1 written examination, out of which 26 cadets have successfully cleared the examination. Eight of these cadets are already in the merit list for NDA-154 Course and are awaiting their call-up letters.
The 26 cadets who cleared the written exam include Abhay Pratap Singh Dhillon, Vishwaroop Singh Grewal, Agamjit Singh Virk, Paramdeep Singh, Apardeep Singh Sahni, Khushpreet Singh, Manav Goel, Samarth, Bhaskar Jain, Lavish, Hirdesh Arora, Arnav Sharma, Harkanwar Singh, Udaiveer Singh Nanda, Mannurpreet Singh, Gurnoor Singh, Gurkirat Singh, Anhad Singh Khatumaria, Prajveer Singh, Diwanshu Sandhu, Nirbikh Singh Bharara, Ritish Arora, Ishmeet Singh, Rehan Yadav, Husanpreet Singh and Himanshu Rishi.
Congratulating the cadets, Punjab Employment Generation, Skill Development and Training Minister Mr. Aman Arora said, “These cadets are the pride of Punjab. I wish them all the best for the upcoming SSB interviews and training.”
Expressing satisfaction over the results of the NDA exam, Major General Ajay H Chauhan, VSM, Director of the institute, said that these cadets will soon appear for their SSB interview. He informed that 11 cadets of the institute will graduate from NDA by the end of May, while eight cadets under training will be commissioned by the end of May/early June 2025. Since the inception of this institute, 170 cadets have become commissioned officers in the defense services.
