Nawanshahr, April 29- The Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist) New Democracy paid tribute to 26 innocent people killed in Pahalgam at village Sanawa. The party has demanded the resignation of Union Home Minister Amit Shah. Condemning the killings on the occasion, Jasbir Deep, Bhupinder Singh Waraich and Kamaljit Sanawa said that the religiously motivated mass murder in Pahalgam, in which 26 innocent people lost their lives and many others were injured, is a very heinous, cruel and reprehensible act, we strongly condemn it.
This name is not in the interest of any religion or freedom struggle. It is a matter of satisfaction that people in Kashmir, especially Muslims, have come out on the streets against this heinous act. He said that according to our investigation, four major mass murders have taken place so far. Now this Pahalgam mass murder has happened. Two things are common in all these three.
Firstly, in all these, a particular group was targeted, Sikhs in Chitti Singh Pura, Central Reserve Police in Pulwama and Hindus in Pahalgam. Secondly, all these are related to a particular incident. The Chitti Singh Pura incident happened in the year 2000, when US President Bill Clinton had come to India, the Pulwama incident happened when elections were about to be held in the country and the Pahalgam incident happened when US Vice President J.D. Vance had come to India.
The second aspect is that this incident happened at a time when the Wakf Amendment Act passed by the Modi government was facing strong opposition across the country. All these things make it suspicious. Therefore, a high-level investigation should be done. The leaders said that when the whole country was mourning this heart-wrenching incident, the Prime Minister returned from Saudi Arabia, but chose to address an election rally in Bihar.
The leaders further said that the communal polarization policy of federal fascism can give nothing but bloodshed and destruction to the country and the people. People should fight it strongly. He said that we should oppose creating an atmosphere of war, because war does not create happiness but mourning.
