Garhshankar- The main objective of the Punjab Education Revolution campaign launched by the Punjab government is to strengthen the infrastructure of government schools and provide the best facilities to the schools in every aspect so that the students of government schools can be made a match for the era of modern education. These ideas were put forward by the Deputy Speaker of the Punjab Vidhan Sabha while inaugurating the development works done in four government schools of Garhshankar constituency at a cost of Rs 16.31 lakh.
He inaugurated the boundary wall at Government Primary School Satnaur, the classroom at Government Primary School Salempur, the boundary wall at Government Primary School Kitna and the classroom at Government Primary School Moranwali. The Deputy Speaker said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the state government has achieved record development by considering government schools and health institutions that were in poor condition as priority areas, due to which the students of government schools are achieving high marks in every field. He said that the education revolution will be the basis of the progress of our state and children from ordinary homes will touch great heights by studying in government schools.
On this occasion, he said that the Punjab government has set a record by providing government jobs to 54 thousand youth so far. On this occasion, he also specially honored the meritorious students. On this occasion, the panchayat members of the villages and the officials of the education department were also present.
