SAS Nagar, April 26: For the convenience of people living in the areas of urban local bodies (municipal councils) of the district (except MC Mohali), Deputy Commissioner of Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar Komal Mittal has launched a mobile helpline number 90413-15612 for registering street light problems.
Giving information, DC Mittal said that apart from sending details of street light complaints including name, area and contact number through WhatsApp message, complaints can also be registered by calling this number between 9 am and 5 pm.
Appealing to the residents living in Kharar, Nawan Gaon, Gharuan, Kurali, Zirakpur, Lalru, Derabassi and Banur urban areas, the Deputy Commissioner said that the executive officers of these urban local bodies have been directed to resolve the issues related to street lights raised by the people in a time-bound manner so that they can get convenience.
