
Grenade attack on YouTuber's house: Army jawan who provided online training arrested
Chandigarh, April 17 – Punjab Police has arrested an army jawan in connection with the grenade attack on a YouTuber’s house in Jalandhar last month. According to the police, Sukhcharan Singh, an army jawan posted in Jammu and Kashmir, has been arrested for allegedly giving online training to an accused in how to throw a hand grenade. It is noteworthy that on the intervening night of March 15 and 16, a grenade was hurled at the house of YouTuber Roger Sandhu, although it did not explode.

Police said that they have apprised the army officials about the jawan’s role in the case. A Jalandhar court has sent the jawan to five-day police remand. They said that further investigation into the case is underway.
After this incident, Pakistani gangster Shahzad Bhatti had claimed responsibility for the grenade attack on the house of a YouTuber who allegedly used derogatory language against the Muslim community. Seven people have been arrested so far in connection with this grenade attack.
In the last four-five months, there have been several incidents of explosions targeting police posts in Amritsar and Gurdaspur. Last month, a blast took place outside a temple in Amritsar. Similarly, on April 8, a grenade was hurled at the house of BJP leader Manoranjan Kalia in Jalandhar.
