Bhopal, April 14 - In Madhya Pradesh, 19 students fell ill after eating food served to them during a party in a college hostel. Umesh Sharda, who admitted the students of Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (MANIT) to the hospital, told ANI that the students were complaining of vomiting, diarrhea and fever. 19 students had eaten food from the hostel, where a party was held.

The hospital owner said that the condition of the students has improved and they have been discharged after getting treatment. One of the admitted students said that they had eaten pulses, rice etc. in the hostel. After eating it, the health of the children started deteriorating from yesterday afternoon. I also had severe pain in the stomach and people were having fever and vomiting.''
Meanwhile, the students who fell ill demanded that strict action be taken to prevent such an incident from happening again.
