Jalandhar, April 8 Paigam-E-Jagat: A terrorist attack took place at the house of former Punjab cabinet minister and senior BJP leader Manoranjan Kalia last night. Some people who came in an e-rickshaw threw a grenade at his house, which caused a loud explosion.
The former minister was sleeping in his house at the time of the attack. Other family members were also present in the house with him. The entire incident was captured in the CCTV installed outside his house.
Jalandhar Police have arrested 2 miscreants who threw grenades within 12 hours. The accused have been identified as Ravinder Kumar, resident of Subhan Road, Garha (Jalandhar) and Satish alias Kaka alias Lakka, resident of Bhargav Camp (Jalandhar). The police have also recovered the e-rickshaw.
